IT company in Hinjewadi forces employees to resume office, NITES submits complaint to Chief Minister…

Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate NITES has submitted a complaint with Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Uddhav Thackeray ji and Labour Ministry against TCS for forcing employees to resume offices by 15 November 2021.

Similar issue had already happened in Infosys in March 2020 where the company had to vacate 2 buildings post an employee was tested positive for COVID-19. Only for increasing profits putting lives of thousands of employees is not a wise decision.

We have received around 78 complaints from employees of Tata Consultancy Services TCS post they receive notification from the organization to be available in the deputed location by 15 November 2021. In these difficult circumstances the company should be more empathetic towards the employees well being.

The employees do not think that it’s a great idea to call all employees at the same time because there is a large crowd in office. And those who are from neighbouring towns and cities if shift back to pune, if anything happens to them then there’s no one to look after them.

Covid vaccine is not the 100% solution of COVID, when large crowd is travelling from home to their office locations then there are maxium chances of getting infected as being in contact with many people. There are several instances where people in the city have not followed protocols diligently.
